Judi Moylan Officially Opens New Facilities at Mundaring Primary School

Federal Member for Pearce, the Hon Judi Moylan MP officially opened new facilities at Mundaring Primary School today. The new facilities were funded with a $146,174 grant, through the Investing in Our Schools Programme. Mrs Moylan said the philosophy behind the Investing in Our Schools Programme is to give schools the opportunity to determine their own priorities for facilities and infrastructure projects. “I am pleased to see that this Government supported this development with a $146,174 grant through the Investing in Our Schools Programme,” Mrs Moylan said. “This programme is all about school communities working together to let the Australian Government know what they need. This Government has invested $1.2 billion in the Investing in Our Schools Programme and $827 million has gone to government school projects and we are committed to ensuring that all Australian students received the best quality education possible no matter where they go to school. Mrs Moylan congratulated all those involved in the project. “These new facilities that include a shade structure, modular staging, extensions to roofing and signage and construction of a soft fall play area will greatly enhance the children’s learning environment,” Mrs Moylan said. “All those involved in these projects should be very proud of their efforts.”
